They were a 90s hip hop group that made the hit Jump.
Kris Kross was a hip hop duo made up of Chris Kelly, known as Mac Daddy, and Chris Smith, known as Daddy Mac. They sold 4 million records when they were just 13 years old.
Their hit 1992 song Jump, from their debut album, Totally Krossed Out, went on number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks. They were also noted for their fashion style of wearing their clothes backwards.
Chris Kelly, half of the rap duo Kriss Kross, has passed away on May 1, 2013 from a possible drug overdose. He was pronounced dead around 5 pm on the south campus of the Atlanta Medical Center. He was 34 years old.
