My sister in law's sister owns a restaurant here in General Santos City, Philippines. Last year, she offered to "help" me sell some of my items (why I'm selling it, read here why) by displaying it on a table in her restaurant.
Some were sold, but she didn't give back the whole amount from the sale. She has evaded me ever since.
Sent her (and her brother too) text messages at least a dozen times reminding her that I wished to get the remaining payment from the sale. No reply. Not even once. Her waiter, who also purchased something from me is also evading me. This is 6 months ago. Both of them have ninja tactics of evasion. There's another person who owes me, but whatever. They think that by avoiding me I might have forgotten about it. Is this prevalent here? Back home, if we owe and it has reached 3 months it's considered long. Besides, won't you feel guilty and embarrassed?
No matter how small it is, if you owe, you pay.
Update: After, seven months, the waiter has finally paid. It's just the sister of my sister in law who hasn't.
Knowing how we are right now, and you still did it, here's something for you. Press play.
